What does the Bible say about the Word of God?

The Word of God did not come by the will of men but by the Holy Spirit, who moved the holy men of God to speak out (2 Pet. 1 :21).

The Word of God endures for ever. It is the same Word which was preached by the gospel (1 Pet. 1 :25).

Each word of God is to be obeyed. "Whoever keeps the whole law and yet violates one, disobeys the whole. For He who said "Do not commit adultery", has said, Do not murder" (James 2:10).

Hence be doers of the law and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves (James 1 :22).

The Word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of thoughts and intents of the heart (Heb. 4:12).

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction and for instruction in righteousness. By this, the man of God is made perfect and thoroughly occupied for every good work (2 Tim 3:16:17)
